The Tunge are a nomadic bovine-like people, mostly inhabiting the Halja Steppes. Their size, bulk and warrior culture make them ideal bodyguards and henchmen.
The Tunge are a nomadic race, living in seasonal encampments. They aren't numerous - female Tunge usually have only 2 or 3 offspring for their entire life. Although not unintelligent, their matter of fact demeanor and preference for silence and action before deliberation has earned them infamy as brutes and savages.
The Tunge don't have a strict governmental structure - the spoils of each hunt are distributed equally between the tribe. Although different encampment exists, there is only one Tunge tribe, advised (but not ruled) by a council of elders.
The Tunge don't interact much with outsiders. Tunge individuals that have chosen to venture out of their homeland usually work as bodyguards or mercenaries.
